The proposals are based on an innovative approach towards mixeduse development that reflects the working and living needs of modern occupiers and provide 121 new co-living studio homes. The scheme seeks to maximise the employment potential of the site through a combination of modern workspaces, including lightindustrial accommodation and co-living spaces orientated towards the needs of working Londoners.
Dedicated workspaces occupy the base of the building (lower ground, ground and first floor), including maker-space, co-working space and dedicated studio / office spaces. The co-living spaces occupying the upper floors of the building, include generous communal facilities some of which would be used for ‘working’ during the day and domestic purposes at evenings and weekends. Our approach towards mixed-use enables a flexible and highly efficient use of accommodation in accordance with sustainable development objectives and maximises employment opportunities. Furthermore, the proposed mix and type of accommodation and facilities have been designed in direct response to the needs of future occupiers following extensive research by the applicant.
