The Cart & Horses – birthplace of Iron Maiden – is located in the London borough of Newham features a mixture of apartments and family homes. A light brick façade transitions into metal cladding with a metallic anodized finish, sat upon a cast stone plinth at ground floor level.

The top three storeys of the taller building element incorporate folding metal screens to the balconies, providing private yet flexible spaces. All homes have access to landscaped shared amenity at ground and roof level. The development proposals seek to improve the current public house facilities, whilst allowing continuation of day to day running of the live music venue for the duration of the construction process.
