Emma Flanagan

With over 15 years’ experience Emma joined us in January 2014 and leads our special projects and marketing team in London. Prior to working with us she acquired over five years’ experience working on large-scale infrastructure and urban planning projects at Grimshaw Architects.

She studied both RIBA Part 1 & 2 at Oxford Brookes University. In her final year of Part 2 she undertook a specialism in Urban Design, was elected Society President and received the award for ‘Service to the Taught Course’. She qualified at The University of Cambridge where she received an award for her dissertation outlining her experience on the Stirling nominated London Bridge Station for Grimshaw.

Before moving into marketing and special projects she ran a project design team gaining planning permission for several mixed-use developments. She worked on the delivery of our award winning projects; Pinnacle N10 in Haringey and The Milkshake Tree for the London Festival of Architecture. She has a hands-on approach to pH+ projects and is passionate about contextually sensitive and responsive designs with a strong consideration for process and effect of spaces on the user.

Currently studying for a Diploma in Photography, Emma is passionate about graphic design and learning to perfect her modern calligraphy.
