Our project will deliver much needed high quality residential and commercial space with a focus on improved access, active frontage and amenity spaces. In direct response to the unique qualities and requirements of the Creative Communities that have evolved in the area, it is the first of a series of connected projects we are undertaking in Hackney Wick that, through the exploration and integration of shared yard, terrace and garden spaces, seek to blur and cross over definitions of live / work and public / private space. The proposal celebrates its industrial past by directly drawing from materiality and scale of its established context.
